While doing simplifications/Calculations always remember to follow BODMAS rule correctly.
BODMAS stands for
B=Brackets ()
O=of(x2, √a, etc)
D=Division
M=Multiplication
A=Addition
S=Subtraction
(i) Always Start Division / Multiplication from left side to right side
(ii) Always Start Addition / Subtraction from left side to right side
Ok, Let’s find out how to use BODMAS correctly with Example explanation
Simplify 4X5+6/2
è There are ‘X, ’+’, and ‘/’. According to BODMAS first comes Division ‘/ ’
è 6/2=3. So it becomes 4X5+3
è Next comes Multiplication ’X’.
è 4X5=20.So it becomes 20+3
è 20+3=23. Therefore 4X5+6/2 is equals to 23
