1. 1/8 X(223+?)=71

Solution:
Take 1/8 to opposite side. So it becomes,
 => 223+?=71X8
=>  223+?=568
=>  ? = 568-223, finally
Therefore  ? =345.

2. 1/6 of 1/4 of 640 % of 60=?

Solution:
 First calculate 640% of 60 which is
= 64X6 => 384
Then  1/4X384 = 96
Finally
=>1/6 X 96 => 16

3. 12% of 580 +? = 94

Solution: First Calcualte 12 % of 580 which is
= 12 X 5.8
=69.6. then
?= 94-69.6
=> 24.4

4.(56)² ÷ (14)²

Solution:  Do not waste your time calculating the 56² And 14²  .  Just check whether division of numbers is possible . In this case , 
Yes, so 56/14 =4

   So the given problem becomes

    => 4²  ÷ 1² = 16/1

         =16.
