SBI Probationary Officers(PO) 2016 Notification has been released on 3rd May 2016. Total 2200 vacancies (General-1028, OBC -590, ST-231,SC-351) are available which will be filled with
candidates who Qualify in Online Examination and Interview and Group discussion. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 04-05-2016 to 24-05-2016. The Online examination is divided in to two phases. Phase-1, called Preliminary exam(Online) is to be conducted on July 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th 2016.
Those who successfully qualify in this exam will be shortlisted and will have to appear for Phase-2 exam, called Main Examination(Online) which is to be conducted on July 31st 2016. Those who qualify and score high will be shortlisted and called for Interview and Group Discussion on September 1st 2016.
SBI Probationary Officer Salary:
Presently starting basic pay is 27,620 to junior management grade scale-1.Including D.A, H.R.A,Medical, rental and other allowances total compensation per annum would be around a minimum of 7.55 lack rupees and a maximum of 12.93 lacks per annum depending on location of posting. That is a minimum of 63,000 per month to a maximum of 1,07,000 per month.
Candidates who have the following eligibility criteria only can apply for SBI PO 2016 Vacancies.

Degree/Graduation in any discipline (B.SC,B.A,B.Com,B.Tech,B.Pharmacy,M.SC,M.Com,M.A,M.Tech,M.Pharmacy,Ph.D)
from any University or students in final year of degree/ Graduation can also apply .
Age limit:
Not less then 21 years old (01-04-1995) and Not more than 30 years old(02-04-1986).However OBC candidates can apply up to 33 years and SC,ST can apply up to 35 years.

600 Rupees for General and OBC candidates
100 Rupees for SC/ST/PWD candidates
