SSC CGL 2016 Notification (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam)

SSC CGL 2016, Staff Selection Commission  Combined Graduate Level Examination,  notification has been released .  As you might already know there would be 2 tiers

( levels) of Examination in SCC CGL , Tier-1 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 8^th May and 22^nd May 2016.  Those who Qualify in Tier 1 Exam will be issued separate hall ticket/admission letter for the Tier 2 Examination.

Who are eligible to Apply for SSC CGL 2016?

Educational Qualification:

1.    Assistant Audit Officer:  Bachelor’s degree ( B.sc,B.Com , B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.A, M.Sc, M.com, M.Tech,M.pharmacy, MBA,MCA, Charted Accountant )

2.    Statistical Investigator :  Bachelors degree from any university with Statistics as one of the subjects or 60%  in Mathematics at 12^th  standard .

3.     Compiler: Bachelors degree from any university with Economics or statistics or math’s as one of the subject.

4.    All other posts:  Bachelors Degree from any University

Combined Graduate Level Tier-1 Examination :

There will be a common exam for all categories of posts in the Tier-1 Exam. This exam includes 4 subjects namely, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English comprehension, General Intelligence and Reasoning each subject carrying 50 marks. SSC CGL 2016 Tier – 1 exam results will be declared in 1 or 1 and half month. Those who successfully pass/clear Tier-1 exam will be eligible to attend for the Tier-2 exam which is probably going to be conducted on 13^thAugust and 14^th August.

Note:  Candidates who cleared Tier-1 exam need not again apply separately for Tier-2 exam. You can download the admission letter or hall ticket from the SSC Website.

Combined Graduate Level Tier-2 Exam:

In Tier -2 exam Quantitative aptitude and English Language& Comprehension subjects are common for all categories of posts.

-  Statistics subject  will be additional for those who apply for Statstical investigator and Compiler posts.

- General Studies( Finance and Economics) subject is only for those who apply for Assistant Audit Officer posts

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2016 :

 Candidates must fill an online application form which is going to be started from 13^thFebruary. An application fee of 100 rupees is to be paid through SBI Challan or online though debit or credit cards.

--      Last date for application is 14^thMarch, 2016
